Stay Healthy for the Ones You Love

With preventive care covered at 100%1

You may not look forward to getting preventive care, whether it’s a colonoscopy, a mammogram, or some other kind of routine screening. But it’s important to stay healthy for the ones you love with preventive care — checkups, screenings, immunization and more — at no cost to you.

Preventive care is important because certain conditions often don’t produce any symptoms in their initial stages. But routine screenings can detect potential problems early when they’re the most treatable.

Screenings you need depend on your age, gender, family history and any risk factors you may have. Screenings may include the following:

  • Periodic Health Evaluations
  • Blood Pressure and Cholesterol
  • Diabetes
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections
  • Skin Exam
  • Colorectal Cancer
  • Cervical Cancer (Pelvic Exam and Pap Test)
  • Breast Exam/Mammogram
  • Lung Cancer
  • Osteoporosis

View the list of preventive services that may be covered at no cost (copay, coinsurance, or deductible), depending on your plan benefits.

  1. Preventive care may not be eligible for 100% coverage with some plans -- please check your benefit document to confirm. For plans that do provide 100% coverage, preventive care must be received from a provider in our network. Only certain services qualify as preventive. If you have any questions about whether a service is preventive, please check your benefit document or call Member Services at the number on your ID card. Please note: you may receive non-preventive services during a routine visit that require a cost-share. Examples of these services include but are not limited to pregnancy tests, throat cultures, allergy tests, x-rays, ultrasounds, setting of bones and casts, and cardiac stress tests.
